Where it all began...

Frooms Dahlias was formed in 2021 but the idea came to me a year before. I was as passionate about Dahlias then as I am now. The varieties, different colours, shapes, sizes, and foliage amazed me and I became hooked very quickly.

Dahlias are highly addictive when you see their beauty and realise their uncomparable bloom life. I quickly wanted more but discovered the big local garden centres and franchises would only have 6 varieties, of which I already had 4! I realised there was a distinct lack of specialists in the UK, especially in the Midlands. This is when it hit me...I could provide this and get an opportunity to enjoy my hobby on a grand scale. 

A year on, Frooms Dahlias was born and the ride began! I built my own 70' polytunnel, large raised beds and industrial-size propagator and started to master certain techniques with cuttings, feed, light, and atmosphere.

Along the way, I have met some genuinely lovely people who love my ideas, passion, and business model. This has fueled me to push on, learn more, and see more of those open mouths with the words 'wow' as they walked in.

I'm now in my third year. Although still a puppy of a company, I'm excited about the future and the comments, reviews, and positivity about it have been mind-blowing. I have many ideas about how to develop and keep going.
